From the depths of AOR obscurity Yesterday 95 presents Straightaways. Mark and Peter went back to their classic rock roots, studying their idols as well as discovering AOR albums that have been lost to time. Their goal: to finally bring their vision of AOR to life.
Featuring some of our earliest song’s, reinterpreted and reworked. We are in a time of creative and home renovation, which meant we had to work outside the box. We searched the Yesterday 95 “Vault” and found some recordings of us approaching these songs from 2017 - 2019. Building on top of these recordings to create this EP. We have leaned into a live rocky feel and it finally sounds like we envisioned them in 2012.
